But I play on dota 2 on windows 10 ( Using boot camp assistance ) I recommend you to play using windows on macbook using boot camp. Tips : 1. Try playing with charging on it gave me boot on fps. Without charge 12fps and with charging 65fps max settings I have iMac mid 2010 (got it back then for iOS developmer) with 8GB of ram 21'5inch and I can run Dota 2 at maximum settings and maximum resolution with 20-22 frames per second (vsync), never tried without vsync - however I don't play Dota 2 on my iMac, so I have no idea how much the frame rate drops with lots of particle effects and polygons in team fights.
